Weekly Review – Week Ending 5/24/13

Pearl Day 5K Finish LineBig Events – Yes that is a giant inflatable Pirate Head. I ran in the Pearl Day 5k in Pearl, MS on 5/18/13, winning the Masters division and a cash prize of $100 thank you very much. First time I have won a purse. Thankfully the fast guys in my age group were at the Heart of Mississippi 5k in Carthage. The course is right next to Pearl High School, home of The Pirates. I thought the inflatable run through at the finish was a nice touch.
